I am a 30 yr old female mother of 4.  I have been dealing with this type of situation for at least 9 years... I have recently been diagnosed with Idiopathic anaphylaxis and have been rushed to the ER by ambulance many times. As of last night I was brought to the ER and it was one of my worse attacks.  I am scared and am wondering what suggestions there are for my physicians and myself.

Hello - I just came upon your post.  I hope you are doing okay and have not suffered any more of these attacks?  I just started having allergic reactions this past year.  One required that I be taken by ambulance to the ER in March/2011.  I just suffered another one a few weeks ago, followed up with one the best allergists in S Florida - they ran a Trptase blood test and also performed skin tests - all tests proved normal. Therefore the diagnosis was Idiopathic anaphylaxis.  I am now afraid to eat anything - because I don't know what could trigger another attack.  I again, hope that you are doing okay and have been able to get to the bottom of what was causing your attacks?
