I am a senior midwife and I have been bullied I am aware students at my hospital have left due to bullying. I have now had a year off work after suffering a psychiatric injury as a result of bullying, victimisation and work load. I want to expose this common problem and write an article for the RCM. My bullying has worsened since I put in a grievance and I am receiving support from an MP to address it. I want to go to the press but they have already threatened to dismmiss me. Have you any advice. I will not rest until this is exposed.

Congratulations for having the presence of mind to find strength in your adversity. Bullying is cowardly and should not be tolerated. Colleagues should unit and support those being intimidated and expose the bullies for what they are.  They usually consist of a few individuals that ruin the atmosphere fr everyone else.
