I was taken off of Synthroid in December after 8 years of very unsuccessful treatment. I NEVER felt right. I was started on Armour Thyroid in December and felt 100% better in 2 weeks. Guess what ... just like you when I went to get my script refilled, I couldn't find it anywhere! I was on what I am reading as the "new" formulation of Armour so I cannot compare to the older formulation.   It was horrible to finally find something that changed my life and the way that I feel and then to NOT be able to get it again!!!

So far, this medicine has a sweeter taste and a slightly stinky smell in the bottle.   If you were on "old" Armour this is what I hear that it was like.    It was $35 for 100,  30mg pills.   More expensive but totally worth it.
