1. Aaron Aaron United States says:

Who care's about Obama's former doctor, or what he has to say?  Why is his opinion so powerfully important?  He's sure got a right to it, but why is it headlining news?  It's like it's somehow more damning to Obama's plan for health-care if his own former doctor is critical of it...but does anybody want their former or CURRENT doctor telling them what their political positions should be on anything?

I'd be happy to hear my doctor's opinion about it (oh, if I had a doctor which I DON'T because I have No Insurance), but pretty much every doctor I've ever met is pretty conservative politically.

Oh, and I'd be perfectly happy to hear what some kind of panel of doctors thought about these different health-care plans people are coming up with.  If you could somehow poll a really huge number of doctors of all kinds of backgrounds, I'd love to hear that.  But just one dude plucked out of the air?  I don't know that guy, I don't know why I should trust him at all.  Nobody voted for him anyway...  Just because he's his former doctor?  Does that mean we're going to ask all of Obama's former everythings on every issue?

What does Obama's former accountant think about the budget?  What does Obama's former high school principal think about the School Voucher program?
