I've had type 1 diabetes for nineteen years now.
When being given access to the CGM devices my HbA1c significantly decreased and I can personally vouch for their effectiveness.
I really think government subsidies need to cover the CGM - particularly for pregnant women and youth. It gives diabetics a great perspective of their insulin sensitivity over a 24hr basis and their card:insulin ratio requirements.

I suffered from depression too related to my continuously high glucose levels. As soon as my glucose and HbA1c dropped from the use of the CGMs my depression subsequently went away too.

I pray everyday that they'll one day be subsidise so all diabetics (especially type 1) have access to these medical devices as many don't due to their current high price.

    SUPPORT CGMs!!
