Dear Jon, My mom has this awful disease. She has had SX and is now on the somatostatin and has horrible side effects and is majorly depressed. Please let me know if there is any Dr. in Alabama that will consider the drugs you have mentioned.

  Susan, I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I don't know if you will see this or not, but I am in remission for acromegaly and am treated at the pituitary clinic at UAB in Birmingham, AL. My endocrinologist is Dr. T. Brooks Vaughan and surgeon was Dr. Kristen Riley. Hope this will help.
