I am from Vancouver and I wanted to say that there are two problems here. One is the health system in Canada and the other is the housing problem. These are two major problems in Canada and has been for many years. What the government is doing about it now is an insult more than anything else. We are living in a class divided society where the majority of the people can't afford a decent home. It has been like that since the early 1800s. In all capitalist countries only the wealthy people got good homes. There are people who makes lots of money renting out the worst kind of apartments for big money. There are very few low cost houses been built. This is where the problem is and the government is not going to change that.

The health system in Canada is in shambles. It is not a priority for the government. In Cuba these kinds of problems don't exist because the government there works for the good of the people. The Canadian government might fool a few people by saying that they are going to help the homeless people and the people with mental illness, but most people don't pay much attention to this hypocracy by the government.
