    Excellent work that, as suggested, demands further work!
    The fact that both bacterial and viral pathogens, in separate studies, are showing similar results is indeed intriguing.

    PS: Perhaps some of the surprise in the "surprising result" stems from a "thin is in" cultural bias (we tend to supply a halo on all things "low-calorie").
