Underwater Fluorescence Video of an Anemone Spawning, Bonaire

NIGHTSEA's origins are in exploration and documentation of underwater fluorescence. This video shows a wonderful chance find from one of our dive trips – an anemone spawning. We stumbled on this in shallow water close to the dock on the way back in from a dive to the reef on the island of Bonaire in the Caribbean Sea. Both the anemone and its spawn are highly fluorescent, and they make a nice image moving back in forth in the wave surge. Notice the little (fluorescent) hermit crab in the lower right that looks like it is feeding on the spawn.
