The Mini Section/Slide Dryer is developed with a tiny footprint to be used at the microtome for enhanced LEAN workflow. Air at a digitally controlled temperature is blown through the instrument's base for speedy and effective section drying without the risk of overheating the specimen. This method can reduce drying times by up to 75% compared to traditional ovens.
A large chamber can accommodate up to six slide racks (30 slide capacities), which can be inspected at any time via a transparent lid. The lid’s unique resistance hinges allow users to place it at any angle. This enables using both hands when placing and removing goods from the dryer. The capacity is four slide racks of 30 when the optional 4 Slide Rack Holder is included.
The added LEAN Timer system and identifying rack guarantee that each slide rack has an ideal drying time and offers users an audible and visual indication when a slide rack has entirely dried. The LEAN Timer can keep track of up to four slide racks at once.
