Food Standards Agency Wales is developing a nutrition network

NewsGuard 100/100 Score

Food Standards Agency Wales is developing a nutrition network to provide key players, such as health professionals, teachers, and voluntary organisations, with information and a platform to share experiences.

Stakeholders first raised the idea of a network, when the nutrition strategy for Wales, Food and Well Being, was being developed.

FSA Wales is being advised on the planned network by The Wales Centre for Health (WCH), a new independent body set up to provide a national focus for multi-disciplinary advice, debate and professional development.

WCH have produced an initial report. It features the views of health, local government and voluntary sectors across Wales and its recommendations will be presented and discussed at two conferences, being held in Llandudno on 11 May and Cardiff on 26 May
