OSI Systems bags $2 million follow-on contract

OSI Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: OSIS), a vertically integrated provider of specialized electronic products for critical applications in the Security and Healthcare industries, today announced that its Healthcare division, Spacelabs Healthcare, has received a follow-on contract for a broad range of patient monitoring products from a major U.S. regional hospital totaling approximately $2 million. The systems are to be installed throughout the hospital including the critical care, preoperative, OR and outpatient surgery areas to provide comprehensive monitoring of patients throughout the care cycle.

OSI Systems CEO Deepak Chopra stated, “We are excited to announce this significant contract award within the U.S. market. The award highlights our broad product offering encompassing portable, bed-side and central patient monitors. Our comprehensive monitoring solution allows patient data to be monitored and collected in a variety of critical care environments while providing clinicians with better and more accessible information in order to facilitate informed clinical decisions.”
