American Academy of Nursing inducts seven editors of LWW as Academy Fellows

The American Academy of Nursing today inducted seven editors and editorial board members of Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW) nursing publications as Academy Fellows. LWW is part of Wolters Kluwer Health, a leading provider of information and business intelligence for students, professionals, and institutions in medicine, nursing, allied health, and pharmacy. Academy Fellows are selected based on evidence of significant contributions to nursing and health care. Selection is based in part on the extent to which nominees' nursing careers influence health policies for the benefit of all Americans.

Inductees affiliated with LWW nursing publications include: *Phyllis Ann Bonham, PhD, MSN, CWOCN, President of WOCN, Wound, Ostomy & Continence Nurses Society *Sandra Engberg, PhD, CRNP, Consulting Editor, Journal of Wound, Ostomy & Continence Nursing *Tina Marie Marrelli, MSN, MA, RN, Editor of Home Healthcare Nurse *Alison L. Kitson, PhD, BSc, RN, Editorial Board, Nursing Research *Rodney (Rod) Hicks, PhD, RN, FNP-BC, FAANP, Editorial Advisory Board member, American Journal of Nursing *Karen Ballard, MA, RN, Contributing Editor, American Journal of Nursing *Leah Curtin, DsN, RN, FAAN, Editorial Board, Nursing Administration Quarterly. Ms. Curtin is being inducted as a Living Legend.
