Consumer Health Advisers (CHA), a pioneering provider of a personal 'electronic medical home' for consumers, is pleased to announce a new collaboration with Medi-Span®, the leading provider of drug information for thousands of health care professionals worldwide.

Consumer Health Advisers' platform, the Consumer Health Management Center, engages employees and dependents in active health and health care self-management. Individuals are able to access their personal health information -- claims, clinical, financial, and more -- in a single, secure, on-demand portal. This information is translated into actionable information that is based on leading clinical and financial benchmarks and guidelines.

The Consumer Health Management Center platform will utilize data from the Medi-Span® system, including the Medi-Span® Price Rx software. This information will provide CHA a comprehensive and current drug list, therapeutic hierarchy and other information that will be utilized in the content and analytics sent to consumers.

"Our collaboration with Medi-Span® will help further our mission of fostering consumer engagement in the active management of health care," said Nelson Rosenbaum, CEO of Consumer Health Advisers. "Medi-Span® enhances CHA's capabilities in providing consumers with detailed personalized messaging including alerts, tools and recommendations regarding their use and purchase of drugs, maximizing their value under their benefit plans."
