 One year after the inauguration of President Obama, an analysis of 18 American Pulse™ surveys (including over 90,000 respondents), shows that Americans are increasingly dissatisfied with his and the Democratic Congress' policies. From concerns over the economy, frustration about healthcare and a feeling that they no longer have a voice in Washington (just to name a few), Americans are indicating they may simply be fed up with Washington.

Key points from every month throughout the past year include:

January 2009

-- 55.9% thought Tim Geithner's failure to pay taxes in the past should prevent him from being Treasury Secretary... he was confirmed. -- 62% strongly disagreed with or disagreed with the statement "The U.S. Government is looking out for my financial interests"... strike one against government spending.
