Harris introduces CESS to help healthcare organizations implement CONNECT solution

Harris Corporation (NYSE: HRS) recently introduced Harris CONNECT Engineering Support Services (CESS) to help healthcare organizations rapidly implement the Federal Heath Architecture CONNECT solution – a gateway to the Nationwide Health Information Network (NHIN).  CESS enables healthcare organizations to quickly and securely exchange patient health information. The bundled offering includes CONNECT enterprise services installation, configuration and troubleshooting.

CESS is available to federal agencies through the General Services Administration, Contract Number GS-35F-0283J, and also to commercial users such as health information exchanges, regional health information organizations and the emerging statewide health information networks.

The open-source CONNECT solution was developed by Harris, with partners Agilex and Scenpro, under contract to the Federal Health Architecture within the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT.
