2010 WOCN/WCET Joint Conference focusing on patient care to be held in Phoenix

Healthcare professionals who specialize in wound, ostomy and/or continence care will have the opportunity to participate in a groundbreaking conference that combines the expertise of two premier wound, ostomy and continence associations, The Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses (WOCN) Society and The World Council of Enterostomal Therapists (WCET). The 2010 WOCN/WCET Joint Conference, Universal Focus on Patient Care, scheduled for June 12-16, 2010 in Phoenix, AZ, will highlight the most up-to-date patient care treatments, evidence-based research, and emerging techniques designed to enhance the profession. Educational offerings include sessions on the yet-to-be-released WOCN Ostomy and Pressure Ulcer Guidelines, transcultural nursing, evaluation of fecal incontinence, CMS updates and many other sessions of interest to nurses practicing in the fields of wound, ostomy and continence throughout the world.
