Acuo Technologies granted patent covering technology implemented in DSG software suite

Acuo Technologies, the market leading Vendor Neutral Archive supplier, was granted US patent number 7,640,171 by the USPTO which covers technology implemented in its DICOM Services Grid™ software suite.

The DICOM Services Grid (DSG) software is paramount for organizations that desire and require a Vendor/PACS Neutral Archiving strategy and those who manage images from other "-ologies", such as pathology and cardiology. The DICOM Services Grid system completely eliminates current and future down-stream migration issues and vendor lock-in allowing PACS to plug and unplug to meet business needs.
