Intelerad® Medical Systems, a leader in medical imaging PACS and workflow solutions, today announced that InHealth Imaging, LLC has chosen IntelePACS® as their first filmless PACS system, including the IntelePACS Breast Imaging module.

“We wanted to stay competitive and improve our service to both our patients and referring physicians”

Based out of Poulsbo and Silverdale, Washington State, InHealth Imaging offers MDCT, DXA, Ultrasound, MRI, Mammography, and Nuclear Medicine services to the North Kitsap County, Jefferson County and Bainbridge Island communities.

When storage space for film became an issue, coupled with the high expenditure of carrier delivery services and not meeting the new standards in turnaround times, InHealth Imaging quickly realized that they needed a digital PACS solution.

"We wanted to stay competitive and improve our service to both our patients and referring physicians," said Dr. Manfred Henne, managing member and founder of InHealth Imaging. "Our research into the various PACS solutions currently available confirmed just how complete and easy-to-use IntelePACS truly is. The added benefit of being able to offer breast imaging services from a single integrated system, which also provides access to referring physicians, made this a clear choice. We can now participate in the state screening program and our patients get their results before they even leave the clinic."

With its integrated viewer and universal worklist, Intelerad's IntelePACS streamlines the radiology workflow and provides significant productivity gains. "With IntelePACS, InHealth Imaging can focus on their goal to provide a high quality service to referring physicians and provide personalized care to their patients," said Chris Henri, Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Intelerad Medical Systems.
