Humana Military Healthcare Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Humana Inc., announces the launch of the mobile Humana Military website for mobile phones and tablets. Some of the traditional website's most popular, easy-to-use features such as the provider locator and TRICARE eligibility check are now available through iPhone ™, Android ™, Blackberry ™ devices, and tablet operating systems, as well as other phones with internet capabilities. Humana Military also provides an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) telephone system, which allows text messaging to an internet enabled phone on topics such as TRICARE Prime enrollment payments and a link to the TRICARE provider locator.

"Humana Military recognizes the rapid adoption of mobile devices, so we are responding by making new, innovative channels and platforms available to our TRICARE beneficiaries," said Dave Baker, president and CEO of Humana Military. "Our new mobile services provide much needed flexibility beyond traditional desktop computers. We're excited about our new mobile web site, and we hope military users will find it very helpful," Baker concluded.
