MRO Corp., a leading provider of disclosure management applications and services for healthcare organizations, today announced that it has acquired the assets of Keystone Management Solutions, a provider of release of information services based in Malvern, Pennsylvania. This acquisition will enable MRO to continue building its market presence across Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Louisiana, where Keystone Management Solutions currently serves hospitals and health systems.

"This is an exciting time for us, and through the Keystone acquisition we'll not only be expanding the market reach of our technology and service offerings, but enhancing the level of service we provide to our customer base with the leveraged strength of the combined companies," says Stephen Hynes, president, MRO. "Beyond ROI, MRO's customized technology offerings are now bolstering the disclosure management process for healthcare providers looking to comply with the stringent demands of upcoming legislation."

The acquisition will enable the former Keystone clients to take advantage of MRO's disclosure management platform and associated services, such as accounting of disclosures and audit tracking. Keystone Management Solutions' Vice President Gregory Girton will join MRO as regional operations director.

"Now that we're part of MRO, our customers certainly will benefit from MRO's proven technology solutions and enhanced service offering," notes Girton. "With major changes continuing to affect healthcare regulation, we anticipate that MRO's enterprise-wide disclosure management systems will give healthcare providers the policy enforcement and level of oversight needed to ensure against improper PHI disclosures."
