O2 Concepts reaches full production on new portable oxygen concentrator

NewsGuard 100/100 Score

O2 Concepts has reached full production on its new state-of-the-art portable oxygen concentrator. The Oxlife Independence was designed for the PROVIDER by delivering the lowest lifecycle costs for today's declining reimbursement environment.

The new 3 LPM/96mL POC is the most viable option for the non-delivery business model for home care providers. Through a process of customer feedback, O2 Concepts refined the functionality in order to offer the most user friendly and robust product to its network of distributors and patients. "Phase one of our product release was a controlled launch in order to refine our design and identify improvements," said O2 Concepts CEO Dikran Tourian. "The response from the market has been overwhelming; at present, our greatest challenge is keeping up with the demand."

The Oxlife Independence all-in-one concentrator boasts the smallest footprint and the longest battery life in its class. Its patent-pending ESA Technology complements its core VPSA design, delivering the most energy efficient solution available. Comparative testing has shown that its battery capacity nearly doubles that of its closest competitor.

Benefits of The Oxlife Independence:

  • Patent Pending ESA Technology
  • Lower acquisition cost and higher reimbursement model
  • Only POC in class that can be used in car on all settings
  • Split battery design allows for flexibility
  • Innovative integrated cart design
  • FAA Approved

"I have been in the respiratory home care market for 25 years and have been an advocate of POCs," said Eagle Medical's Larry Pellerito. "I have utilized hundreds of these units on patients, and the Oxlife Independence has enabled growth in my market due to the longer excursion time while operating on batteries."
