NIH awards SeKON contract under CIO-SP3 restricted solicitation

SeKON Enterprise, Inc., a leader in enterprise business applications and management consulting, announced today that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) has awarded the company a contract under its Chief Information Officer - Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3) restricted solicitation.

CIO-SP3 is a 10-year, $20 billion federal government-wide acquisition contract that can be used by civilian agencies and Department of Defense agencies to purchase a wide range of information technology services. The SeKON team, which includes 18 companies, won the CIO-SP3 award, 8(a) category.

SeKON and its partners will compete for awards on 8 of the 10 task areas covered by CIO-SP3. The SeKON team is qualified for IT services for biomedical research, health sciences and healthcare; chief information officer support; outsourcing; IT operations and maintenance; integration services, critical infrastructure protection and information assurance, digital government and enterprise resource management.

Members of the SeKON team include: APG (now CACI), ARM Consulting, BIAS, Cahaba Safeguard Administrators, Convergence Technology Consulting, Excentium, FCN, Grant Thornton, ICF, InfoReliance, LeapFrog Solutions, Microsoft, Mind Over Machines, Pathway Partners, SAIC, SalesForce, Starry Associates and Xerox.
