LSO Medical SAS, a leading French laser manufacturer for aesthetic and surgical applications, and GME German Medical Engineering GmbH, a German company developing and marketing laser applications, announced today the formation of a strategic partnership. LSO will market GME's dermatologic product line in France. The partnership LSO Medical-GME aims at providing a one-stop source of innovative aesthetic laser devices.

The French market is currently characterized by a strong growth in the field of aesthetic laser treatments. Hair removal, reductions of wrinkles and scars and the removal of telangiectasias are among the recurrent patient concerns. This cooperation  gives LSO Medical the opportunity to expand its product range. The first 2 products are a fractional CO2 laser device (DotScan 10 600) for the treatment of wrinkles, scars and and for skin rejuvenation, as well as an innovative diode laser for hair removal and the treatment of onychomycosis, the LinScan 808.

Dr Stefan Schulze, CEO of GME, welcomes this new stage in the development of his product line on the French market: "We are very proud that LSO has decided to choose GME as their partner for the aesthetic market in France. They enjoy an excellent reputation due their know-how and experience."

Pioneer in the development of video-assisted laser technologies with the C4+ device or the Lipocontrol, LSO Medical continues to seek innovation by adding now a high power 808 nm diode laser to its product line. This new technology enhances performance and possibilities, and provides a leading position to LinScan 808 among current hair removal lasers.

Capitalizing on its experience, LSO Medical thus intends to reaffirm its presence and leadership. "We are extremely delighted to launch this strategic alliance with GME. The product ranges of our two companies and their mindsets are perfectly complementary, paving the way for a future fruitful collaboration" said Mr. Philippe Rochon CEO of LSO Medical.
