Saint Luke's Health System and doxo today announced Saint Luke's Health System has launched doxo across all ten of its hospitals to expand patients' electronic access to their billing information. Saint Luke's patients can now receive and pay their hospital care statements, as well as organize Explanation Of Benefit's (EOBs) and other documents that surround episodes of care, directly from their free personal doxo account - online or on their mobile phone.

"doxo is a key component of our continuous efforts to enhance the quality of services we deliver to our patients," said Diane Watkins, vice president of revenue cycle at Saint Luke's Health System. "The complexity of health care billing is a key challenge of the patient experience, and doxo simplifies that process and helps bridge the gap between patients, physicians, hospitals, and insurance companies. It also dramatically reduces our per-patient costs and helps us operate more efficiently."

Patients of Saint Luke's Health System can connect on doxo by visiting https://www.doxo.com/saintlukeshealth/ or by downloading the iPhone or Android app.

Every time a patient connects to Saint Luke's on doxo, their hospital bills and account documents are automatically delivered directly to their free doxo digital file cabinet, accessed online or via the doxo iPhone and Android mobile app. Patients can organize all their accounts - for health care, and for other service providers like insurance, phone and cable, and banking - all in one place. Documents can be printed or downloaded at anytime, and easily backed up to the customer's own hard drive or cloud storage service. Further, with doxoPAY, patients can quickly pay bills or set up auto-pay with user-specified limits.

"The industry recognizes it has become too complex and costly to continue business as usual. With disparate statements from providers, payers and physicians, there needs to be a convenient, cost effective way to manage those interactions all in one place," said John Talaga, vice president, healthcare at doxo. "With doxo, Saint Luke's is able to give their patients a digital file cabinet to more effectively manage their statements, EOBs and other documents surrounding episodes of care. This firmly places Saint Luke's at the forefront of advancing patient communications to deliver the highest level of patient satisfaction."
