Acera, Inc., a Massachusetts based startup focused on OEM LED lighting solutions for endoscopy and other technical applications will be launching its line of products at MEDICA, November 13-17, 2016, as part of the Mass Life Sciences presence at this prestigious medical device trade fair.

MEDICA, hosted each year in Dusseldorf's Messe Center, is the world's largest venue for medical devices of all types and in 2015 drew over 130,000 attendees from 120 countries to experience over 4,900 companies.

Acera will have its products on display in Hall 3/G72 and will demonstrate its breakthrough in LED illumination with endoscopes from Zibra Corporation of Westport, MA and ERPA Instruments, of Duiven, The Netherlands.

Said Thomas V. Root, Co-founder and President of Acera; "Our highly efficient optic design and embeddable LED module have been a year and a half in the making and by maintaining high color temperature and color rendering, we provide significant advantages in technical lighting applications where a lot of light piped into small spaces is required."

Although shipments are slated to begin in December, Acera has received pre-orders for its hand-held illuminator and its embeddable endoscopic module.

Acera will be seeking interested OEM's and distributors and will continue to accept pre-orders as it is preparing for its full product release.
