I have some concerns on this study. I have no doubt that what they say is true but I would be very concerns with experimenting with visual techniques on these types of things especially with infants and young children because the way things are and always has been is that the baby first words are Mom Dad and other members of the family and that is the way it should be because mind development is and should be on psychological development via of family. Family is everything to the child and development is via interaction with the family; and according to my theories, objects are simply semiconscious development and they should not be promoted until at least psychological development is well established; because they will come naturally anyway as the child starts to communicate with the members of his/her family as he will imitate, copy and incorporate what ever they are doing and saying etc. My research is in free iBooks but it has never been confirmed and or even officially reviewed by others; and I am not a qualified scientist although I do have course and I do enjoy research although I never really meant to do any on mind and brain development except I though Autism was caused by the distorting types of hallucinations; and I could not find anyone to do the research and or even consider it.

Now, I am sure; and in fact; it may be due to the semiconscious development of movement into items that do not move and or just simply too much semiconscious development  of objects (informational overload and or object overload) sin the objects mentioned in this article and that is why I have some serious concerns on promoting the visual learning of these types of objects. It may interfere with psychological development via of the parents; and in fact everything comes from the parents including the learning of these words but first a firm connection and bonding with the parent should be well established and then the rest will come in due time naturally. I would even cautious about Windows of Opportunities  that involve these things.

Anything that anyone can discover about mind and brain development is fine but when it comes to infants and young children with their undeveloped mind and brain; we need to be sure about what we do with early development; and not overload it or semiconsciously develop movement into things that normally do not move. TV and or spinning fans for example have concepts of movement and repetitious sounds or flashing lights may maybe impart concepts and or images of movement in objects that usually do not move; and that in itself could cause hallucination ,maybe and of course there are many other causes. Something is doing it as hallucinations are the only things that could cause SASd, etc. and thus SIDs also as that is along the time line and then we have the usual mental illnesses and dementias all cause by chronic and or traumatic events, abuse etc.
