Aetna, Glens Falls Hospital announce new multiyear agreement

Glens Falls Hospital and Aetna (NYSE: AET) today announced a new multiyear agreement. Glens Falls will remain an "in-network" provider of care for Aetna members.

Aetna will send letters to members telling them that they may continue to receive care at Glens Falls Hospital and from its affiliated physicians at in-network benefit levels, as they have in the past. When members receive care in Aetna's network, they generally pay less money out of pocket for their care.

"We are excited to be able to provide continued care for our patients," said Jeff Treasure, Glens Falls Hospital senior vice president of Finance. "It's a great thing to share this positive news with our community and continue our collaboration with Aetna."

"This agreement is good news for our members," said Dan Delucia, Aetna Network vice president in New York. "We are pleased to continue our network relationship with Glens Falls hospital and provide our members with in-network access to its quality services."
