Foresight integrates eEmergence's HIPAA 5010 interpretive content into its products

Foresight Corporation, the nation’s leading provider of transaction processing automation solutions for healthcare, announced today the integration of eEmergence, Inc.’s exclusive HIPAA 5010 interpretive content into selected products, a move that will facilitate 5010 migration for Foresight’s customers.

eEmergence’s interpretive content is unique because it provides insights into the reasoning behind specific changes from ASC X12 version 4010A1 to 5010 transaction sets. This content comes directly from authors of the 5010 standards and goes far beyond being just a description of changes.

Adding this information to Foresight’s products as the HIPAA Change Interpretation Guide™ makes Foresight’s EDISIM^® guideline management suite and HIPAA Validator^® Desktop file validation tool the only products of their kind to apply such detailed descriptive content and interpretive information specifically for the HIPAA 5010 transition.
