Preliminary lab results of SHBAN hand sanitizer solution announced

BioTech Medics, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: BMCS) announces that it has received preliminary independent clinical testing of its patented SHBAN™ Hand Sanitizer Solution to demonstrate it kills the H1N1 (Swine) Influenza A virus.

Preliminary lab results indicated that SHBAN Hand Sanitizer Solution at three different concentrates caused a reduction (killing) of the H1N1 virus titer within one (1) minute. The SHBAN Solution continued to work and increased the kill of the H1N1 virus titer over a testing period of 30 minutes. This study confirmed the long-lasting effectiveness of SHBAN Solution in reducing germs, bacteria and viruses. Additional studies are being conducted.

Significantly, SHBAN has also been independently clinically tested to prove SHBAN is non-toxic (causing no dermatitis on human skin).

SHBAN is a bio-degradable product superior to most anti-bacterial disinfectants because 1) SHBAN is longer lasting, SHBAN does not evaporate within 15 seconds after application and cease working (like alcohol gels); 2) SHBAN is non-toxic when used as directed on humans; 3) SHBAN is non-staining, non-bleaching; 4) SHBAN is non-flammable and 5) SHBAN has no harmful or toxic odors. Most hand sanitizer products cannot make all of these claims.

BioTech currently sells a .5 oz SHBAN™ Go Anywhere Hand Atomizer Spray Bottle that complies with TSA carry-on travel regulations. BioTech is releasing this Fall, 1.5 oz and 16 oz bottles together with SHBAN Hand Wipe Towelettes.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the H1N1 Influenza a worldwide pandemic 6, so it is essential that people buying hand sanitizers know which ones can prove that they kill the H1N1 Influenza Virus on the hands. SHBAN is protected under US Letters of Patent #5,514,808, #5,574,050, #5,679,711 and #5,585,391 and pending international patents. SHBAN is a trademark of BioTech Medics, Inc.

SHBAN™ in previous in vitro and in vivo testing has been evaluated for its antimicrobial properties against H5N1 Avian Bird Influenza, Staph. Aureus, Staph. Epidermidis, EC. Faecalis, E. Coli and Ps. Aeruginosa.

Whether any product kills a virus on the hands is a moot point.  Viruses do not pass from hand to mouth in a form that actually causes the virus to develop in the human body.  While on the hand the virus undergoes a transformation so that is not infectious. Thanks
