Think First, a premier provider of revenue cycle services, has been chosen by the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Medical Group to support their efforts to improve revenue cycle performance.

The UCSF Medical Group will utilize Think First’s Denial Diagnostics to identify areas of opportunity for more effective claims scrubbing. Think First’s Denial Diagnostics tool automatically identifies opportunities for building a stronger editing system, reducing denials and enhancing cash flow.

"Our organization needed a solution to ensure we were getting the most out of our claims scrubbing solutions," explains Cliff Skinner, Director, Medical Group Business Services.

"We carefully evaluated options in the marketplace and believe Denial Diagnostics will provide excellent results at an affordable cost,” says Kevin McLaren, Director of Clinic Operations, Revenue Management and Compliance for the UCSF Department of Medicine.

"Appealing denied claims is a very manual process. Organizations can and should continue to leverage their investments in claims scrubbing technology to further prevent denials. Denial Diagnostics automates a typically labor-intensive analysis and readily identifies opportunities for eliminating denials,” says Chris George, CEO of Think First. "We are excited to be leading the advancement of existing revenue cycle technology.”
