CEO of pSivida to discuss new technologies in retinal drug delivery at the San Diego Ophthalmic summit

pSivida Corp, (NASDAQ:PSDV)(ASX:PSD)(FF:PSI), a leading drug delivery company, today announced that Dr. Paul Ashton, CEO, will lead a discussion on New Technologies in Retinal Drug Delivery at the 5^th Annual Ophthalmic Drug Development and Delivery Summit to be held September 21-22, 2009 in San Diego.

Dr. Ashton will describe the anatomical and technical difficulties of drug delivery to the retina; the advantages and disadvantages of earlier approaches to overcome these obstacles; current attempts to achieve effective dosing to the retina and provide an outlook on future developments in retinal delivery.
