Yoga South announced it will include a lesson in the value of giving with its yoga certification program by encouraging graduates to teach free community yoga classes, according to Yoga South's Owner James Kigar and Director of Teacher Training Judy Weaver.

Rooted in the Vinyasa Yoga System and designed to give students a comprehensive understanding of Hatha yoga, the intensive training course taught at Yoga South, Boca Raton's premier Vinyasa yoga studio, is a 200-hour certification course. Students will graduate from the program with the skills they need to design and teach Vinyasa flow yoga.

"The Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher Training at Yoga South gives students a deep understanding of the body, mind and spirit, and shows how the yoga postures work with each of them," says Kigar, who has been teaching and practicing yoga since 1989.

Yoga South's training program infuses instructors with the process to create an improvisational flow and also recommends each graduate offers a free community class at the studio upon completion.

Yoga South Teacher Training Program Intensive 4-Week Yoga Teach Training Program Dates: October 12 to November 8, 2009 Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1:00 to 5:00PM Location: Yoga South Studio, 3500 Boca Raton Boulevard #731, Boca Raton, FL Register: www.yogasouth.net Extended 8-Week Program Dates: December 5, 2009 to February 7, 2010 Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 1:30 to 6:30PM Location: Yoga South Studio, 3500 Boca Raton Boulevard #731, Boca Raton, FL Register: www.yogasouth.net

The information and experience learned in these courses will benefit anyone already teaching or those who only wish to deepen their personal practice. In order to shorten the duration of the training, the last two days of each program will be full days and held at an off-site location in Miami.

"But it won't be all work," says Kigar. "There will be opportunities for bonfires, kirtan, live music, thai massage, and Russian baths to help students relax after an intense day of training."

Tuition for each program is $2,795 and includes study materials plus off-site accommodations, meals, and all yoga classes during the training.
