German research institutes and companies to introduce their activities at WEFTEC.09

As part of the initiative "Research in Germany - Land of Ideas", German research institutes, universities and companies will introduce themselves and their activities at this year's WEFTEC.09.

The Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC) is an annual event that features an educational programme on innovative technological advances in water and waste water treatment, collection systems, water quality, water reuse and pollution control. The exhibition is an integral part of the conference programme and focuses exclusively on the water quality industry.

The "Research in Germany - Land of Ideas" initiative will host a stand where eight exhibitors will present Germany's latest research projects and innovations in environmental technology, and in particular, water technology and management. The exhibitors include the German Water Partnership, the Helmholtz Centre of Competence for Soil, Groundwater and Site Revitalisation (TASK), the Fraunhofer Institute for Interfacial Engineering and Biotechnology (IGB), the University of Kassel East-West Competence Centre, the German Society for Membrane Technology as well as the three companies inge watertechnologies GmbH, pigadi GmbH and Martin Systems AG.

We invite researchers and journalists to visit the "Research in Germany - Land of Ideas" stand (No. 2451, Hall A) at WEFTEC from 12-14 October, 9 am - 5 pm.
