Presidio Networked Solutions, Inc., the leading provider of professional and managed services for the full lifecycle of advanced IT infrastructure solutions, today announced it will host an exclusive Healthcare Technology Executive Summit on October 15, in partnership with Cisco Systems, Radianta and Ekahau. The event will leverage Cisco's TelePresence™ technology to bring together healthcare executives from five cities: Boston, Philadelphia, Columbia, MD, Phoenix and San Jose, for discussions on using collaboration technologies for more effective patient engagement.

"Inefficiencies of communication and workflow are costing U.S. hospitals billions of dollars each year," said Dr. Daniel Sands, Director, Cisco Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG). "Technology can significantly improve productivity and care processes, as long as it is implemented with a thorough understanding of the people, processes and environment in which it will be used."

The summit offers healthcare executives insights on leveraging collaborative and advanced communication solutions for enhanced patient care. Highlights will include demonstrations on Nurse Connect™, Network Access Control, Asset Management and Video Medical Interpretation solutions. Key presentations will be provided by Dr. Daniel Sands, MD, MPH, Senior Medical Informatics Director at Cisco IBSG, and Kathy English, RN and Director Healthcare Marketing for Cisco.

"Presidio is committed to helping Care Provider Organizations (CPOs) leverage the leading technology solutions to enhance patient care and extend the communications opportunity between patient and care provider. We're pleased to present this dynamic event in conjunction with our valued partners Cisco, Radianta and Ekahau," said Todd Brinegar, Chief Marketing Officer of Presidio Networked Solutions.
