SCAN Health Plan Arizona announced today that Scottsdale Healthcare joined the health plan's provider network, effective immediately. As a result, SCAN members in Maricopa County now have access to the health system's three local hospitals -- Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn Medical Center, Scottsdale Healthcare Shea Medical Center and Scottsdale Healthcare Thompson Peak Hospital.

"We are thrilled to have Scottsdale Healthcare join our provider network," said Tom Lescault, president of SCAN Health Plan Arizona. "The number of providers in the SCAN network is growing all the time, which means that our members will have access to exceptional medical care that is familiar, convenient and comprehensive."
