Noninvasive Medical Technologies, Inc. (NMT), an award-winning company engaged in pioneering highly advanced remote patient monitoring solutions, is pleased to commit its support to the Tim Davis Special Tactics Memorial March.
Twelve highly motivated men in two man teams are currently relay marching over 824 miles across five states, carrying 50 pound ruck sacks and a memorial plaque with Staff Sgt. Tim Davis' name engraved. U.S. Air Force SSG Davis, a USAF Combat Controller, was killed in action in Afghanistan on February 20, 2009. This relay is in honor of him and all Special Tactics teammates who have lost their lives in the line of duty, including Will Jefferson (CCT), Scott Duffman (PJ), Juan Ridout (PJ), Adam Servais (CCT), Will McDaniel (PJ), Jeremy Fresques (CCT), Jason Cunningham (PJ), Casey Crate (CCT), Derek M. Argel (CCT), John Chapman (CCT) and Scott Sather (CCT).
The trek began on October 6, 2009 at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas and will conclude at Hurlburt Field in Fort Walton Beach, Florida on October 17, 2009. Upon arrival, marchers will join other USAF comrades at Hurlburt Field Air Park at the annual Combat Control reunion where they will add SSG Davis' name to the Combat Control Memorial. Coordinators of the march hope to raise awareness and financial support for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (www.specialops.org), which provides full scholarships and educational and family counseling to the surviving children of special operations personnel who die in operational or training missions; and immediate financial assistance to severely wounded operations personnel and their families.
