(Hologic or the Company) (Nasdaq: HOLX), a leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of premium diagnostics, medical imaging systems and surgical products dedicated to serving the healthcare needs of women, today announced the opening of its new Asia Pacific regional offices and the Hologic Asia Pacific Center for Health Sciences Education in Hong Kong. Sales, product support, training, R&D, logistics, health sciences education, and service for Hologic's breast health, diagnostics, GYN surgical, and skeletal health businesses for the Asia Pacific market will be coordinated from the new facility. Company officials joined country and local leaders, customers and medical luminaries for an opening ceremony at the new facility dedication in the Hong Kong Science Park.
