ID Experts(R), the leader in data breach prevention and remediation, has announced a Breach Respond(TM) offering tailored to meet the needs of Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) Member Companies, whose physicians recently had sensitive personal information exposed by a BCBS Association data breach incident.
The Breach Respond services are specifically designed to support BCBS Member Companies in notifying their medical providers, providing them with information to protect themselves and identity theft recovery services, if they become victimized. State and federal laws, including the recently enacted federal HITECH Act, require notification of individuals affected by data breach incidents.
