BankAtlantic, Florida’s Most Convenient Bank, announced today that it has partnered with Tenet South Florida Hospitals to provide outreach events designed to improve the health of the local community. The partnership involves branches and hospitals from Miami-Dade to Martin County, and includes events such as screenings and lectures.

“This partnership demonstrates the commitment that both of our corporations have in regard to providing high quality healthcare education initiatives in an effort to care for the community,” said Craig Bloom, Regional Director, Strategic Operations, Tenet Healthcare. “Keeping our neighbors healthy is our main objective.”

This new educational initiative will be tailored to meet the individual healthcare needs of each community. BankAtlantic Branch Managers and Tenet associates will work together to create an optimal environment where people can learn to improve and maintain good health, and enhance the quality of their life.

“Good health starts with good information. Proactive health education and action nurtures a healthy lifestyle and ‘insures’ the good health of the families and children in our communities,” commented Jarett Levan, CEO of BankAtlantic. “Tenet’s high standards and commitment to the community are an ideal fit with BankAtlantic and we are very pleased to partner with Tenet Healthcare.”
