Press Ganey Associates, Inc. today announced it has selected RAVEN to improve their requirements definition process.
Healthcare is a unique industry in which success is not measured simply by financial returns. The most successful healthcare organizations act upon the needs of all customers to improve the delivery of care and achieve organizational results. For more than 20 years, Press Ganey has led the healthcare industry with a clear mission based on partnership, results, solutions, support, and care. With an exclusive focus in healthcare, Press Ganey's industry expertise and resources support their clients’ commitment to making their organization work for every stakeholder.
As part of its Project Management Office initiatives, Press Ganey is developing a Business Analyst (BA) team to interview users and document user requirements. “As we transition to agile methods, we want to be more efficient and more accurate to produce better outcomes for our customers,” said Kevin Michalski, director of the Project Management Office at Press Ganey. “The RAVEN software along with the training and consulting provided by Ravenflow is playing a critical role in achieving those objectives.”
Press Ganey was initially seeking educational vendors who could teach BAs how to gather requirements and how to define the role of the BA within Press Ganey. Through a services engagement, Ravenflow gave Press Ganey insight into how the role of the BA could work within the company and how that role interacts with other stakeholders, such as QA, project managers, developers, and business managers.
“Ultimately,” said Michalski, “we selected RAVEN to ensure the time spent with users results in high quality and accurate requirements that can be handed off to development.”
Ravenflow is widely known for its award-winning RAVEN product for business requirements definition.
