VIIAD Systems launches web based PPO Directory tool for the workers’ compensation marketplace

VIIAD Systems, an innovative technology company that provides claims communication tools to the workers’ compensation marketplace has launched Compass, a new web based product for the industry.

Compass, powered by VIIAD, provides the workers’ compensation marketplace with an easy to use web based PPO Directory tool that is designed to reduce claims cost by increasing PPO and ancillary network penetration, create and customize panel postings, create directories for printing or electronic distribution and provide tools for users to nominate providers for recruitment.

Just like all of VIIAD’s other products, Compass is completely customized by a client and can be accessed 24 hours a day 7 days a week by multiple users and touch points, including injured workers, medical providers, employers, case managers, adjusters, claims professionals , 24/7 nurse lines and anyone else the client wants to grant access. In addition, Compass is designed to integrate any PPO network’s data that a Client is utilizing today as well as any additional cost containment vendors, such as MRI, Physical Therapy, DME or PBM vendors. “All data can be integrated into Compass and customized to ensure greater PPO network penetration,” says John Zubak, chief executive officer of VIIAD.

“VIIAD has been providing directory product solutions in the health insurance marketplace for over 4 years and as we began to speak with more and more people in the workers’ compensation marketplace we began to realize that the industry was looking for a creative solution,” says Harvey Mitgang, president of VIIAD. “We are excited to be able to offer Compass as we work to achieve our goal of providing innovative cost effective solutions that will reduce claims cost for employers.”

“We plan to unveil this new product at the Workers’ Compensation and Disability Conference in Chicago this month, however we already have multiple clients currently working with us,” says April Stiles, chief operating officer of VIIAD.
