Ultimo Software Solutions today announced that it is partnering with AeroScout to integrate its Maintenance and Facility Management Software, which includes inventory and work order administration, with AeroScout’s Wi-Fi RFID solution. The combined solutions will enable hospital staff to execute key business processes in a faster, simpler and more effective manner.

Ultimo Software Solutions is based in Nunspeet in the Netherlands and in Mechelen in Belgium and provides Maintenance and Facility Management Software solutions across a variety of industries, including healthcare. Ultimo software is designed to be extremely flexible to suit the specific needs of each of its customers. For example, it can help organizations streamline their operations by providing real time equipment location updates from AeroScout from within the Ultimo software. Ultimo Facility Management Software and Ultimo Maintenance Management Software optimize facility processes and asset management for more than 100 hospitals across the Netherlands and Belgium.

Based in Redwood City, California, AeroScout is the market leader in Unified Asset Visibility solutions. Its MobileView software enables hospital staff to search for and manage medical equipment and other assets that are tagged by AeroScout Wi-Fi Tags. By leveraging hospitals’ existing standard Wi-Fi networks instead of proprietary RFID readers and networks, AeroScout provides a cost-effective way for organizations to track the location, status and condition of critical items such as infusion pumps, specialty beds and ventilators.
