18. November 2009 01:40

Thomas Memorial Hospital has completed the purchase to equip its critical care, perioperative, telemetry and outpatient surgery areas with the latest technology from Spacelabs Healthcare, a leader in patient monitoring and other healthcare products and services for over 50 years.

For Thomas Memorial, this $1.3 million purchase represents a shift from another medical equipment supplier to Spacelabs. According to Jason Duffy, Director of Supply Chain Operations for Thomas Memorial System, “After careful evaluation, we are pleased to bring the Spacelabs products to our clinicians and patients. Spacelabs’ reputation for reliable, easy-to-use equipment was a critical part of our decision and the clinical benefits are second-to-none. This purchase continues Thomas Memorial’s dedication to staying at the forefront of the latest technology for superior patient care.”

Joe Davin, Group President, North America, for Spacelabs said, “We are proud to be part of the Thomas Memorial Hospital vision. The hospital's purchase of patient monitoring products and the ICS G2 suite of applications will give clinicians access to timely and comprehensive patient information at the point of care throughout the hospital.”
