HTDS files criminal complaints against anonymous stock chat site posters

Hard to Treat Diseases, Inc. (HTDS) www.htdsmedical.com announced today that their attorney, Bradley E. Essman, has filed criminal complaints with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and with the State police against certain anonymous stock chat site posters. The complaints call for the investigation of certain death threats made against HTDS employees, agents and representatives, including the posting of a malicious Internet link that destroyed computer memories.

Federal law makes it illegal to threaten people on the Internet and to engage in "cyber stalking." Planting malicious code on the Internet is also outlawed. Both are offenses under relevant state law.

Mr. Essman is an international business attorney and former Assistant State Attorney of Hillsborough County (Tampa), Florida, where he served with the Special Prosecutions Unit for Economic and White Collar Crimes. He has offices in Tarpon Springs and St. Petersburg, Florida.

Attorney Essman said, "We are moving every day to do more and more to bring to justice those malicious cowards who use the anonymity of Internet to harass productive people. We must stop this or else the work of many innocent people will be harmed. We intend to bring to justice all of these perpetrators. I say to these criminals, you may be surprised to find that you will soon be caught and punished."
