SC AG McMaster to Address Constitutionality of "Cornhusker Kickback" in Health Care Reform Bill

South Carolina Attorney General Henry McMaster will discuss the review of state attorneys general into the constitutionality of the health care reform bill being considered by Congress, at a National Press Club Newsmaker press conference at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13th, in the Zenger Room, 13th Floor, National Press Building, 529 14th Street, NW, Washington, DC.

Recently, McMaster and 13 state attorneys general expressed constitutional concerns over the "Cornhusker Kickback" provision inserted into the Senate version of the bill and requested its removal in order to prevent litigation by the states.
