Medtech Investment Week to be held in Stockholm

On February 10-12th 2010, Medtech Investment Week is being held in Stockholm. The program features a tour of the Stockholm-Uppsala life science sector, providing a unique, exclusive and efficient opportunity to cover the latest news from one of the world’s leading medtech clusters.

The three-day program includes a visit to Stockholm Science City Foundation, on the development of the new Karolinska-Norra Station district in Stockholm. The district is a joint venture between private and public sector, and with a total investment of SEK 50 billion, the largest ever in Sweden, it strengthens the region as a leading life science cluster.

Also included in the program are visits to renowned business incubator Uppsala Innovation Center, the leading medtech hub Flemingsberg and also Karolinska Development, the investment company with a unique business model. In addition, the program features participation in Scandinavia’s leading medtech event, Medtech Investment Day on February 11th, featuring industry experts and 22 of the most innovative companies within the field.
