Genesis Invest AG (FWB:GN0)(WKN:A0REQT) provides a Mobile Cube to the US Disaster Management for its deployment in Haiti. Parallel to that, the relevant authorities are preparing together with Green Ecosys Sys, the US subsidiary of Genesis Invest, the deployment of stationary systems for the long-term local supply of drinking water in Haiti.

“This way, we are able to provide a modest contribution to supply the suffering people of Haiti on the one hand”

Besides the search and rescue work, the acute lack of drinking water and electricity are among the biggest problems in Haiti at the moment. The US Disaster Management, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), knows since the Green Ecosys kick-off event in Miami, last November, that the Mobile Cube is exactly what is needed here to produce relief. The Mobile Cube that had been used for demonstration purposes at that time is currently ready for loading in Miami and awaits transportation to Port au Price along with the further equipment from the US Disaster Management. “This way, we are able to provide a modest contribution to supply the suffering people of Haiti on the one hand”, explains Wolfgang Goese, CEO of Genesis Invest.

“And on the other hand, a concept is being developed at the moment which is intended to lead to a long-term solution of the local drinking water supply in Haiti by deploying additional stationary systems from the product range of Genesis Invest.”
