Fattah releases statement urging the House and Senate to pass healthcare bill with improvements

Congressman Fattah releases the following statement urging the House and Senate to simultaneously pass Senate healthcare bill and House-Senate-White House negotiated improvements. 

"We've been holding hearings, meeting with constituents, and discussing options for over a year.  We have two bills that are substantively the same and address the President's reform priorities.  We need to take what we have, make it happen and work to remedy the many other challenges facing the American public including unemployment and reducing the deficit."
