Primordial, Charlotte Radiology announce partnership

Published on March 11, 2010 at 6:01 AM · No Comments

Primordial, a leading vendor of communications, workflow, quality management and analytics applications for the medical imaging market, and Charlotte Radiology, one of the largest radiology groups in the United States, announced today a partnership to deploy and further develop Primordial’s applications for use by Charlotte Radiology physicians across numerous hospitals and imaging centers.

“Charlotte Radiology has identified quality management – and peer review specifically – as a core need moving forward”

As part of the agreement, Primordial will install its platform and multiple applications, including a powerful communications system and a full-featured peer review system across a highly distributed and complex reading environment. It will do so by integrating and extending multiple PACS systems to create a seamless, vendor-agnostic system that layers on top of the underlying imaging workflow. And as it typically does, Primordial will customize the software to the customer’s specific workflow and needs.
